Visiting in a group

Groups of disabled persons (schools, organizations, specialist institutions, etc.) have several options for visiting the museum.

Guided tours

Duration : 1hr or 1.5hr

Do you want to be accompanied in your discovery of the permanent collections or the temporary exhibitions? Our lecturer-guides have been trained to adapt to groups of all ages and they are familiar with the specific aspects of the social field (people learning French, Youth Judicial Protection Services, people unfamiliar with museums, etc.).

Advice

To inform the lecturer in advance on the profile of your group, don’t hesitate to leave the information when you make your reservation. On the day of your tour, don’t forget to spend a few minutes introducing your group (specific aspects of your group, your plans, possible difficulties…) and don’t hesitate to speak up during your tour (questions, comments, etc.).

Practical Information

  • Group : From 2 to 25 people, incl. escorts.
  • Requirement: Be an organization involved in the social sector.
  • Rate: Independent tour: free for the group. Guided Tours: €35 for the group
    Workshop: €50 for the group

Narrated Visits

Duration : 1h

Discover the works in a different way by letting yourself be carried away by the oral traditions of the different continents, in the permanent collections or in some temporary exhibitions. Professional narrators, dressed for the occasion, take you on a journey across the continent and cater to audiences of all ages.

Tips: So that the narrator is informed in advance of your group profile, please provide the details of the group (characteristics of your group, its projects, possible difficulties, etc.).

Workshops

Duration : 1h30 or 2 hours

The museum proposes participatory workshops to better understand the artistic practices of the civilizations presented in the museum. These workshops are ideal for families with children (for 3-5 years, 6-8 years and 9-12 years); some are open to youth and adults.

Independent Group Visits

You can visit in your group without a guide or with your own guide by requesting “speaking rights”.

Bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance. Independent group visits are free.

Contact the Reservations Department: +33 (0)1 56 61 71 72 or reservations[at]quaibranly.fr.

REMOTE ACTIVITIES

The museum now offers videoconferencing activities for groups of people with disabilities.

Groups can reserve the activity of their choice with the reservations department, Monday to Friday, on +33 (0)1 56 61 71 72 or via the following address: reservations[at]quaibranly.fr. Remember to give all the useful information about your group so that the speaker can adapt as best as possible.

For these sessions we ask for a minimum number of registrants of 8 people and a maximum number of 15 (facilitators included). The reservation request is made up to 2 weeks before the requested date. Finally, sessions are limited to 2 per month for each structure.

Remote activities take place on the Zoom platform. The group or each participant must then be equipped with a computer with a good Internet connection, a webcam and a microphone.

Prices : 30 € for the group
