Content

This catalogue presents the conquest of Peru through the biographies of two great figures, the Inca Sun-King Atahualpa and the Conquistador Francisco Pizarro. This publication is organized around narratives of the Conquest, remarkably illustrated with engravings, paintings and maps from the era, which make it possible to present the highlights of this adventure which begins in 1520 and ends in 1541 with the assassination of Pizarro by his own men.
